Since everyone is unique, I offer different types of therapy and/or a combination of therapies to fit the needs of each individual or couple, including: psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, solutions-based, narrative, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, strengths-based and appreciative inquiry.
I have been trained as a Psychoanalyst, am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Professional Coach. My post-graduate work includes a rigorous four-year psychoanalytic training program at Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, as well as completing training programs for Couples Therapy from Psychoanalytic Couples and Family Institute of New England and for Professional Coaching from the College of Executive Coaching. My undergraduate degree is from Smith College and I obtained my MSW from New York University’s School of Social Work.
Prior to my work as an Analyst and Professional Coach, I worked at Bank of America, Leo Burnett and American Express in marketing and advertising positions.
In addition to being in private practice since 2003, I co-founded Making Parenting Work– a consulting firm that offers maternity leave support and life/work balance seminars and coaching to the workplace. My clients include: MAPFRE, Harvard Business Publishing, TripAdvisor, Holy Cross College, Dassault Systemes and Harvard Medical School.
